NeoSynergy Announces 500th Dealer Subscription to Best Deals Automotive Online Advertising Service

With enhanced capabilities, Best Deals publishes dealers' actual vehicle price information on some of the most popular search destinations on the Web

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoSynergy, a Web-based automotive software firm, announced today that more than 500 new-car dealers have subscribed to its Best Deals marketing service since their launch in November 2007. Utilizing enhanced content on AOL Autos, and tools based on Google services, Best Deals subscribers can deliver their actual vehicle price information to two of the most popular search destinations on the Web.

"This is a significant milestone that validates dealers' are looking for effective ways to reach a broader audience with their inventory information," says NeoSynergy CEO and President David Wassmann. "With Best Deals, we are offering dealers access to more than 6 billion internet searches a month, for a fraction of the cost of a single newspaper ad. That more than 500 dealers have already signed up illustrates that there simply is no other marketing service that offers dealers the reach and value of Best Deals."

For consumers, Best Deals offers unique information that reflects the actual purchase or lease price -- not just the published invoice and MSRP information. Best Deals allows dealers and their advertising agencies to modify pricing on a real-time basis -- even after prices have been published -- and reflects industry trends: 80 percent of consumers research new vehicle purchase online and 59 percent of automotive dealers report they are planning to increase spending on online marketing. New inventory-publishing tools in the Best Deals service have made the process of online advertising even easier for subscribers.

For Best Deals subscribers like Michael Trujillo, Internet Manager Team Superstores, Vallejo, Calif., Best Deals also meets his business needs in a changing marketplace:

"With the changing economy and retracting automotive market, we are experiencing incredible competition for every car sale, and we are aware that customers are willing to look harder for the best value they can find on a new vehicle. Accordingly, we were looking for an online-marketing tool that would help expose our aggressive pricing and promotions, and expose our offers to an audience beyond the readership of our local newsprint advertising. With Best Deals, we found an ideal and cost-effective way to meet both objectives."

Best Deals content has been on AOL Autos since November, and currently includes approximately 25,000 vehicle price and lease offers from across the country. The AOL Autos content has been enhanced for increased visibility and expanded pricing details. Consumers can find vehicles by make, model, purchase or lease pricing, and region. Each result includes dealership contact information and offer details, including: price (monthly payment, lease payment, or purchase price), down payment, term of offer, mileage allowance for leases, and pricing plan restrictions.

"With Best Deals, we are able to maximize our reach and make available our entire inventory before a customer even steps foot into the dealership. Best Deals builds traffic and helps us move our inventory at a quicker rate," says Internet Sales Director Harry D. Locklear, Team Mazda-Hyundai, Vallejo, Calif.

As of May 1, subscribing dealers' information is also featured in several popular Google offerings:

-- Free Listings: The Best Deals service automatically creates free Web
listings for subscribing dealers. These free listings will appear when
shoppers search for vehicles by area and contain the dealer's contact
and location information, as well as a link to that dealer's Best Deals
       offers.
-- NeoSynergy Best Deals Google Mapplet: This map application allows
Google Maps(TM) users to search for vehicles by make, model, location,
and purchase type. Matching offers in the Best Deals search results
will then be displayed on Google Maps(TM) with the location of the
       dealership.
-- NeoSynergy Best Deals iGoogle Gadget, Google Toolbar(TM) Button and
Google Desktop Gadget: Users of iGoogle(TM), a personalized home page
on Google, can utilize the NeoSynergy Best Deals Google Gadget to add
the vehicle search function to their home page. Similarly, online
shoppers can use the Google Toolbar to add the Best Deals search button
to their Internet browser. Users of Google's desktop utility can also
use a Best Deals gadget right from their desktop.

With these tools, users can access actual vehicle pricing, with dealer contact information, at the click of a mouse. As an additional enhancement, Best Deals reporting tools now allow subscribing dealers to track impressions, calls and performance of deals by distribution channel.

Most importantly, all of these enhanced features and distribution of Best Deals content was made available to subscribers at no additional cost.

"By leveraging the power and technology of online search, we are able to dramatically increase the value of Best Deals for our subscribers," says Patty Cox, NeoSynergy CMO. "This is the benefit of utilizing a 'Software as a Service' solution. We are able to introduce new features and enhancements without requiring our customers to download updates, or invest in new software packages."

This summer, Best Deals subscribers will also be able to take advantage of NeoSynergy's new Best Deals Direct application.

"NeoSynergy's Best Deals Direct application is exactly what consumers say they want -- a convenient means to shop for the best deals available, without having to drive around town or the state to find them," said Cox. "The dealers' best prices come to them via Best Deals and they can initiate the transaction, using Best Deals Direct, at their leisure."

According to Capgemini, 20 percent of consumers are now willing to consider completing their vehicle purchases online, up from two percent in 2001.
