Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally & Race to Recover America's Missing Children Searches for a Team of Democrats and Republicans!

ORLANDO, Fla., June 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally series, an invitational event comprised exclusively of business leaders, is looking for a "rally" team from THE LEFT and another from THE RIGHT. With it being an election year, Fireball Run Organizer, J. Sanchez is searching for a team of Republicans and a team of Democrats to search for missing kids in the 2008 Fireball Run.

Nearly 100 teams comprised exclusively of business and community leaders embark upon a 3,500 mile transcontinental adventure of a lifetime. Fireball Run is an "interactive" adventure game and rally starting when Mayor "Kip" Holden of Baton Rouge, Louisiana waves the green flag on September 25, 2008. Fireball Run will finish as Mayor George Hartwell waves the checkered flag to end the rally on October 4, 2008 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

While networking and having fun, teams participate in the nation's largest missing child recovery effort; The Race to Recover America's Missing Children, a 3 Million dollar awareness campaign for the Child Rescue Network, a Florida based not for profit (www.ChildRescueNetwork.org). The mission: each team distributes posters along the entire 3500 mile route, in an effort to aid in the recovery of its assigned missing child. Fireball Run 2007 made headlines worldwide for contributing to the latest recovery of 12 missing children. It is the largest and longest "active" recovery effort in history for missing and abducted children.

Mr. Sanchez noted, "With the attention our Race to Recover America's Missing Children garners and with this being such a crucial time for our country, we want to help bring awareness of the need to vote and for ALL Americans to take part in the electoral process. Who knows? This 'friendly' competition may just predict who our next President will be."

"The added media interest in these teams will also focus even more attention on the plight of missing and abducted children," proclaimed Jeff Griesemer, CEO of Child Rescue Network.

It is often compared to Amazing Race meets Cannonball Run. Teams navigate the country by solving clues, completing tricky missions, even racing their vehicles on some of America's most challenging race tracks. The event begins with a reception at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, followed by a city wide celebration. On September 27, the green flag will be waved sending nearly 75 vehicles of all types, including the Back to the Future time car, on a 7 city, transcontinental adventure of a lifetime. The event ends 7 days later in Grand Rapids, Michigan ending this year's Race to Recover America's Missing Children. The 2008 event will also have stops in Shreveport, LA, Jackson, MS, Tupelo, MS, St. Louis, MO, and Westmont/Chicago, IL.
