DETROIT, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- An opportunity to play golf with the world's No. 1 golfer, Tiger Woods, at the 2009 Buick Invitational Pro-Am, is one of four items currently being auctioned on eBay. All proceeds from the auction go to the Buick Open charities. The items will be available for bid ( www.ebay.com/buickopen08 ) through 10 p.m. Eastern time Saturday, June 7.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play golf with Woods at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, Calif., during the Feb. 4, 2009 Pro-Am. The package includes four nights' accommodations at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, round-trip airfare for two, tournament tickets, a Pro-Am gift package and access to Pro-Am functions.

"There are some extraordinary items up for bid in this auction, including the opportunity to play with Tiger, that normally couldn't be bought at any price," said Larry Peck, Buick golf marketing manager. "This is also a tremendous opportunity to contribute to very worthy charities in Southeastern Michigan."

Other items up for bid on eBay include: a one-of-a-kind artwork created by Woods; a travel package to attend the 2008 PGA Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club in Birmingham, Mich.; and an autographed Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf bag.

The beauty of Tiger Woods' game is brought to life through a one-of-a-kind artwork created by the master himself. Called "Sunday Drive," it was created by paint-filled golf balls that Tiger launched at canvases for a Buick TV commercial. Tiger's club and paint-covered apparel worn during production of the commercial (shoes, pants, belt, hat and an autographed shirt) are also included in the package.

The package for the 90th PGA championship at Oakland Hills Country Club includes weekly tournament passes, VIP hospitality access, accommodations at The Townsend Hotel Aug. 6-11, round-trip airfare and the use of a rental car.

The Tiger Woods-autographed PGA Tour bag is accompanied by a letter of authentication from Buick.

Auction proceeds benefit the Buick Open charities, including the American Red Cross, Whaley Children's Center, Easter Seals of Michigan and American Lung Association of Michigan, among others. Winners will be announced after the auction concludes at 10 p.m. Eastern on June 7.

Buick has donated $9.4 million to charities throughout Southeastern Michigan since 1982 and almost $40 million through its PGA Tour events over the years.

The 2008 Buick Open, June 23-29 at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc, Mich., will offer a record purse of $5 million and the keys to a new 2008 Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV. Buick will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Buick Open throughout the entire week.
