Start with removing the serpentine belt first in order to reach the old pump. Removing the serpentine belt enables you to reach the old pump.
After that the three screws that are attached to the pump needs to be unbolted. These screws are basically a connection between the pump and the engine block.
When the screws are unbolted, just remove the container that contains power steering fluid and don't forget to remove the pump.
Then the power steering container needs to be taken out from the pump.
After that the fluid line that attaches the fluid container to the pump needs to be detached. Now the power steering container needs to be connected to the brand new pump. Also the fluid line should be reattached carefully, to the intake port located on the new pump.
After that the power steering pump needs to be reattached along with the power steering fluid container to the engine block by bolting the three screws that were unbolted in the beginning.
The serpentine belt is then placed around the pulleys as it was place earlier. Fill the new pump lines with around 2 quarts of fresh power steering fluid. Finally check out all the bolts and screws, so that none is left unbolted.
