Several canned stuffs are available in the market to fix the issue of flat tires. These are extremely easy to use and carry but they provide only a temporary solution to it. Inflators delivers a best solution for the damage, it is just needed to be fit to the valve system of the tire and squeezed optimally.
Tire breaking is also one of the conventional yet reliable solution for treating the harm. This method also exposes you to hidden damage, if any, of the deflated tire. To get this done, just remove the tire and deflate it by lidding off the valve core and mark its position. Lay it on ground and break the tire beads. Finally apply the patch to the affected portion and inflate it after reinstalling and mounting it.
Tire Plug is also a suitable and effective tool to rectify the troublesome issue of flat tires. Tire plugs can be applied in using the following steps:
- First of all, point out the cause of the leakage and then clean the puncture area to stop debris from entering into the tire during the course of repair.
- Now make a suitable hole in the tire after reaming with a suitable tool, to ease the entry of tire plug into it.
- Now with the help of the needle just thread the plug and push it into the tire, pull out the needle with a twist placing the plug into it.
- Remove the remaining plug from the tire, inflate it and leave it for some time. Now your tire is temporarily fixed.
