- Recover refrigerant from refrigeration system.
- Remove No. 1 radiator grille garnish.
- Remove radiator grille.
- Remove front bumper cover.
- Drain engine coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove battery as follows:
- Separate negative and positive battery terminals.
- Remove bolt and loosen nut, and remove battery carrier.
- Remove battery insulator and battery.
- Remove battery tray.
- Separate No. 1 water hose clamp bracket as follows:
- Disconnect two water hoses.
- Remove two bolts and separate No. 1 water hose clamp bracket.
