- Loosen wheel nuts slightly.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Lift up locking tab on spindle nut then remove nut.
- Drain transmission fluid and reinstall drain plug using a new washer, if lefthand driveshaft is removed.
- Remove driveshaft outboard joint from wheel hub using plastic hammer.

To ensure the control unit memorizes the correct ID, the vehicle with the new sensor must be at least 10 ft. away from other vehicles that have tire pressure sensors.
- Place the ignition switch in Lock position.
