On models equipped with anti-lock codes for audio system, write down code for audio presets. When connecting battery ground cable upon installation you will need to enter preset code. Ensure ignition switch is turned off.
- Disconnect battery cables. Remove battery ground cable first then remove other cable.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove bolts from engine splash shield.
