Removal
- Remove caliper as outlined in .
- Remove inboard pad with retainer spring.
- Remove outboard pad and position caliper on front suspension so brake hose will not support weight of caliper.
- Remove two sleeves from inboard ears of caliper.
- Remove four rubber bushings from grooves in each of caliper ears.
Installation
- Lubricate new sleeves, rubber bushings, bushing grooves and mounting bolt ends with lubricant part No. 19010909, or equivalent.

- Unlock steering column so that steering linkage is free to move.
- Raise the vehicle. Support vehicle with suitable safety stands.
- Remove front tire and wheel assemblies.
- In order to prevent drive axle from turning, insert a drift through brake caliper and into one of the rotor vanes.
- Remove axle nut and washer.
- Remove drift from brake rotor.
- Remove front brake rotors and support caliper with piece of wire in order to prevent damage to brake hose.
- Remove brackets from upper control arm holding both ABS wire and brake hose.
