- Drain cooling system into suitable container.
- Remove alternator air inlet duct.
- Disconnect block heater wiring harness retainers, Fig. , from cooling fan shroud and position aside.
- Ensure transmission is in Neutral position, then raise and support vehicle.
- Remove under body splash shield.
- Disconnect lower radiator hose bracket from cooling fan motor and shroud.
- On models equipped with automatic transaxle,disconnect lower radiator hose bracket from cooling fan motor and shroud.
- On all models, disconnect four wiring harness retainers and position the harness aside.
