Radiator, Replace -> Japan-produced models -> U.S.A. produced models
Vehicle: 2006 Honda CR-V EX 2.4 L4 GAS

Japan-produced models

  • Drain engine coolant into a suitable container.
  • Remove hood support rod, then use it to prop hood in wide-open position.
  • Remove bulkhead cover.
  • Remove coolant reservoir hose and upper radiator hose.
  • Raise vehicle on lift to full height.
  • Remove splash shield.
  • Disconnect engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 2 connector, and remove harness clip.
  • Remove lower radiator hose.
  • On models with automatic transaxles, remove automatic transmission fluid (ATF) cooler hoses, then plug hose and line.
  • On all models, lower vehicle on lift.
  • Disconnect fan motor connectors and hood...
