- Disconnect Tc within 3-10 seconds after DTC output begins.
- Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) warning lamps will illuminate three seconds later. Within 2-4 seconds, connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3.

The Maintenance Required reminder lamp will light as a bulb check feature when the ignition is first turned On, then go out after a few seconds. After 5000 miles have elapsed it will light for approximately three seconds after ignition turn-on, then flash for 12 seconds. If the elapsed mileage exceeds 7500 miles, the lamp will light at ignition turn-on and stay lit.
