Prevent the seals (boots) from contacting the other components in order to prevent damage to the seals (boots).
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove engine splash shield.
- Remove stabilizer shaft link.
- Disconnect electrical connector from wheel speed sensor.
- Remove front wheel drive shaft nut and ramped 2-piece washer. Insert a drift or a flat-bladed tool through caliper and into brake rotor to prevent rotor from turning. Discard wheel drive shaft nut. Note relationship between halves of 2-piece ramped washer. The ramped sides must face each oth...
