TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM PROCEDURES FOR 2003 Lincoln Aviator AUTOMOBILES
Component Replacement -> Pressure Monitor Sensor Replacement
Vehicle: 2003 Lincoln Aviator 4.6 V8 GAS
Pressure Monitor Sensor Replacement
Use only tool no. 204-354 anytime tire pressures are measured to be sure that accurate values are obtained. Place air chuck straight on the valve stem to inflate tire. Do not cock air chuck during inflation cycle. Doing so can damage valve stem and cause air leaks. Ford recommends using a round head air chuck on tire pressure sensors; it is not recommended to use air chucks with long shanks. Doing so can cause tire pressure sensor valve stem damage and loss of tire pressure.
