This procedure describes a driveline equipped with cardan joint in tube yoke. Driveline equipped with companion/slip yoke repeat steps to remove remaining cardan joint.
- Place driveshaft on suitable workbench. Do not damage driveshaft when servicing on workbench. Ensure driveline and components are reference marked to prevent driveline imbalance. Do not tighten driveshaft too tightly in a vise because this will cause driveline to become out of balance and result in driveline vibration.
