  • Disconnect refrigerant lines from accumulator. Cap lines and fittings to prevent dirt and moisture from entering system.
  • Disconnect accumulator from evaporator using dual O-ring separator tool No. J 38042, or equivalent.
  • Remove O-ring seals from accumulator.
  • Remove accumulator bracket retaining screw, then the accumulator.
  • Reverse procedure to install.
