Automatic Climate Control (ACC) Panel

To enter the diagnostic mode press and hold the AUTO and VENT buttons for approximately one second. After cycling the flap motors to their calibration positions, the system will search for any current Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). The control panel will display any DTC (up to five) stored by the control module, if there are no DTCs stored the control panel will display the current ambient temperature. The vehicle must remain running for at least 35 seconds...

  • Remove bar fixed between spring struts, then the air canister over throttle body.
  • Remove master cylinder as outlined under "Hydraulic Brake Systems."
  • Remove brake servo vacuum hose.
  • Disconnect electrical distribution box and move aside.
  • Remove four brake servo retaining nuts from bracket.
  • Remove rubber gaiter from bulkhead partition and pull it toward servo container.
  • Disconnect pushrod clip, then the brake servo container.
  • Reverse procedure to install. Ensure brake pipe connections do not leak.
