The A/C cycling switch is mounted on a Schrader valve type fitting on top of the suction accumulator/drier. It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant system to remove the A/C cycling switch.
- Disconnect A/C cycling switch connector.
- Remove A/C clutch cycling switch from accumulator/drier.

After the battery has been disconnected and connected again, abnormal drive conditions may be present while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.

- Remove battery tray.
- On models equipped with A/C, remove three accumulator/drier mounting screws, then move accumulator drier.
- On all models, disconnect electrical connector from blower motor.
- Remove blower motor housing tube.
- Remove four screws and retaining clip.
- To ease removal, align flat spot on blower motor mounting plate with accumulator, then remove blower motor.
- Remove retaining clip, then the blower motor wheel.
- Reverse procedure to install.
