  • Disconnect wear sensor connector.
  • On models equipped with cam on housing, remove lower mounting bolt, steady sliding pin and remove floating caliper, securing with suitable hook.
  • On all models, inspect boots for damage and replace as required.
  • Remove brake pads.
  • Remove some brake fluid from reservoir.
  • Pull wear sensor out of lining back plate.
  • Push piston back using resetting tool No. 000 589 52 43 00, or equivalent.
  • Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
