Vehicle: 1998 BMW 740I 4.4 V8 GAS

Raise and support vehicle.
Remove exhaust system and heat shields.
Disconnect cable from crossmember,
Support transmission with suitable jack.
Remove mounting bolts and crossmember.
Remove transmission joint disk mounting nuts.
Remove differential final drive flange constant-velocity joint mounting nuts.
Disconnect constant-velocity joint by pressing off input flange with suitable screwdriver.
Remove center bearing mounting bolts. Do not allow propeller shaft to fall into joints.
