DRIVESHAFT, Replace -> w/Rear Constant-Velocity Joint -> With Slide
Vehicle: 1998 BMW 328I 2.8 L6 GAS

w/Rear Constant-Velocity Joint

Raise and support vehicle.
Remove exhaust system and heat shield.
Remove mounting bolts and exhaust suspension frame.
Remove transmission joint disk mounting nuts.
Remove mounting nuts and differential final drive flange constant-velocity joint.
Remove center bearing mounting bolts. Do not allow propeller shaft to fall into joints.
Bend propeller shaft downward at center mount and disconnect transmission or constant-velocity joint centering pin.
Protect constant-velocity joint with suitable transport cap.
