This procedure describes a driveline equipped with cardan joint in tube yoke. Driveline equipped wit companion/slip yoke repeat steps to remove remaining cardan joint.

Place driveshaft on suitable workbench. Do not damage driveshaft when servicing on workbench. Ensure driveline and components are reference marked to prevent driveline imbalance.
Tap outside of bearing cap with a drift to loosen snap ring.
Remove snap rings from both sides of yoke using suitable tool.
Position yoke with grease fitting pointing up, if equipped.
