- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove exhaust pipe with three way catalytic converters.
- Remove front crossmember and heat shield.
- Remove complete exhaust system.
- Remove crossmember below driveshaft.
- If there are no markings, mark position of flange relative to rear final drive with paint.
- Loosen driveshaft mounting bolts at rear final drive and at transmission.
- Loosen center bearing-to-body mounting bolts.
- Attach a suitable alignment fixture and tighten plastic nuts.
