Perform bleeding procedure first upon left rear wheel, then on right rear, left front and, finally, right front.
- Ensure ignition switch is in Off position, then depressurize hydraulic bladder accumulator as described under "Precautions."
- Connect a clear plastic hose to bleed screw on brake caliper or wheel cylinder, then place other end of hose in a clear glass container partially filled with clean brake fluid.

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) performs an On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) inspection of the EGR system on all California Vehicles. The diagnostic system uses the electronic EGR Transducer (EET) for the system tests.
