- Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system into a suitable container.
- Remove hose clamps and hoses from radiator, then remove coolant reserve tank tube.
- Remove and plug automatic transmission hoses and auxiliary oil cooler, if equipped.
- Disconnect fan motor electrical connector, then remove fan and support assembly.
