CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 1991 Chevrolet Lumina 3.1 V6 GAS
- Loosen axle nut and washer one turn.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove brake caliper, bracket assembly and rotor.
- Loosen four hub/bearing assembly to knuckle attaching bolts.
- Remove ABS speed sensor mounting bolt, then position sensor aside.
- Remove hub and bearing mounting bolts.
- On right side drive axle, separate drive axle from transaxle using axle shaft remover tool No. J-3308, extension tool No. J-29794 and puller tool No. J-2619-01, or equivalents.
