| Summary: | TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE DURANGO. WHEN FILLING THE GAS TANK, FUEL WILL CONTINUE TO PUMP EVEN WHEN THE GAS TANK IS FULL. AS A RESULT, FUEL SPILLAGE OCCURS. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE A FIRE COULD OCCUR IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE. SHE IS IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT PROVIDE COMPENSATION BECAUSE THERE WERE NO CURRENT RECALLS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 44,300. |
