| Summary: | TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NISSAN FRONTIER. THE CONTACT EXAMINED HIS VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE GAS TANK WAS RUSTED. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A SMALL HOLE THAT ALLOWED GASOLINE TO LEAK FROM THE TANK. THE DEALER STATED THAT NISSAN NO LONGER MANUFACTURES THE GAS TANK FOR HIS VEHICLE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 64,000. |
