| Summary: | 2002 FORD TAURUS SEL: THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR IS SHOT, WE HAVE REPLACED IT TWICE SO IT MADE ME DO SOME ONLINE RESEARCH. TURNS OUT THIS IS VERY COMMON WITH THE TAURUS AND WE CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX IT ON OUR DIME AGAIN. WE PULL THE MOTOR OUT AND THERE IS WATER INSIDE IT. WE'VE TRIED FINDING A LEAK OR SOURCE OF THE WATER BUT NO LUCK. THIS IS GETTING COSTLY AND THERE IS AN EXISTING RECALL #03V087000 FOR OTHER TAURUS MODELS, OURS SHOULD BE INCLUDED ALSO. PROBLEM STARTED WITH 40K MILES AND NOW WITH 55K IT STILL A ONGOING PROBLEM. *TR |
