| Summary: | TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 CADILLAC DEVILLE. OCCASIONALLY, THE CONTACT SMELLED A STRANGE ODOR AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN SMOKING AND LEAKING TRANSAXLE FLUID FROM THE COOLING LINE. HE STATED THAT HE NORMALLY DRIVES 1 OR 2 MILES, BUT AFTER DRIVING 60 MILES BETWEEN 55-60 MPH, THE SMELL, SMOKING, AND LEAKING WORSENED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 94V199000 (POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY). THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 110,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000. |
