| Summary: | TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN HE STARTS THE VEHICLE, IT STALLS AFTER BEING DRIVEN APPROXIMATELY TWO BLOCKS. THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURS WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH AND IN HOT WEATHER. THE DEALER DISCOVERED THAT THE FAILURE NOTED IN RECALL # 02V120000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH) WAS THE CAUSE OF THE CONTACT'S FAILURE. HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON APRIL 24, 2006, BUT THE FAILURE HAS RECURRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 166,000. |
