| Summary: | DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S POWER STEERING MODULATOR FAILED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER IN 03/04 WHO DETERMINED THAT THIS WAS AN ONGOING PROBLEM BECAUSE THE MODULATOR IS ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE INSTEAD OF THE FIREWALL WHICH CAUSES IT TO HEAT UP AND COOL DOWN WITH THE ENGINE. THE DEALER DETERMINED THAT ENGINE VIBRATIONS DAMAGED THE MODULATOR, RESULTING IN POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ON 07/25/06 WHO OFFERED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THE VEHICLE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. |
