| Summary: | DT: THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND HEARD A NOISE IN THE VEHICLE. SHE THOUGHT IT WAS THE BRAKES BECAUSE IT SOUNDED LIKE METAL TO METAL. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS CHECKED AT THE DEALERSHIP ONE COULD PULL THE TIRE OUT BECAUSE THE PIN THAT HELD THE AXLE HAD DROPPED DOWN INTO THE DIFFERENTIAL UNIT. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THE CONTACT PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. THE DRIVER SIDE WAS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY BUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY WOULD NOT AGREE TO REPLACE THE PASSENGER SIDE EVEN UNDER THE WARRANTY. *AK |
