| Summary: | DT: THE CONTACT OWNED A 2004 DODGE DURANGO. AIR CONDITIONER AS WELL AS THE REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH. MALFUNCTIONED. THE SYSTEM BLEW OUT STEAMING HOT AIR BECAUSE OF A SHORT CIRCUIT. IT WAS SO HOT IN THE VEHICLE THAT CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME IN HOT WEATHER. DEALER COULD NOT FIND OUT WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. . WHEN THIS OCCURRED THE REMOTE KEY DID NOT WORK. ALSO, ALL THE ELECTRONIC FEATURES IN THE VEHICLE STOPPED WORKING. THIS INTERFERED WITH THE NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM. CONSUMER REPORTED THIS TO THE MANUFACTURER, AND THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED HIM. *AK |
