| Summary: | DT: WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE SUDDENLY HEARD A LOUD POPPING SOUND FOLLOWED BY A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE. STOPPED IMMEDIATELY, AND HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO FIRESTONE DEALER ,WHO INFORMED CONSUMER THE SPARK PLUGS BLEW OFF THE CYLINDER. THE THREADING AROUND THE SPARK PLUG WAS TOO THIN, THIS HAD A DEFECT. THEN, HAD TOWED TO FORD DEALER WHERE HAS A PREMIUM WARRANTY, BUT THIS WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. NO REPAIRS AS OF YET, IT IS STILL AT THE DEALER WITH OVER $3,000 WORTH DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. *AK |
