| Summary: | THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FROM AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR COMPANY INDICATING THERE WAS A DEFECT IN THE FRAME WELDING. THE CONSUMER THEN RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE MANUFACTURER INDICATING THAT THERE WAS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE MOTORCYCLE AND TO DISREGARD THE PREVIOUS LETTER. ANOTHER LETTER WAS SENT FROM THE MANUFACTURER INDICATING TO DISREGARD THE LAST LETTER, THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE FRAME WELD AND TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER FOR REPAIR. THIS IS CAUSING CONFUSION IN REGARDS TO THE REPAIR OF THE MOTORCYCLE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *JB |
