| Summary: | WE CONTACTED THE DEALER DUE TO THE BRAKES LOCKING UP AND SOUNDING BAD AFTER THEY BECAME WET. THE BRAKES WERE SAID BE BE FINE AND NOT IN NEED OF REPAIR.WE HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE BRAKING SYSTEM SINCE WE LEASED THIS SUV. WE CONTACTED CHEVROLET AT THEIR CUSTOMER 1 800 NUMBER AND TALKED TO A MS. LOPEZ. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE BRAKES ON THE 99 SUBURBAN ARE WITHIN NATIONAL STANDARDS BUT THEIR HAS BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD MY NAME TO THIS GROWING LIST OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAFETY AND INTEGRITY OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM ON THE 1999 CHEVROLET SUBURBANS. |
