| Summary: | TREAD COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM TIRE CASING, DAMAGING FENDER AREA IN THE PROCESS. VEHICLE BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL BUT I WAS ABLE TO COME TO A STOP WITHOUT HITTING ANYTHING. TIRE STILL HAD AIR IN IT BUT WAS COMPLETELY MINUS THE TREAD. TIRES HAS BEEN CHECKED RECENTLY AND WERE FOUND TO BE FREE OF DEFECTS AND CORRECTLY INFLATED. THE FAILED TIRE SHOWED NO SIGNS OF EXTERNAL DIRESS AND WAS STILL INFLATED TO 32 POUNDS.( DOT NUMBER: UNKNOWN TIRE SIZE: P225/70R15 ) |
