| Summary: | WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION, THERE WAS AN APPROX. 1' SNOW FURROW LEFT BY A SNOWPLOW. WHEN THE CAR CROSSED THIS, THE REAR END OF THE CAR DROPPED RIGHT TO THE GROUND. UPON GETTING THE CAR HOME AND UP ON JACK STANDS, IT WAS REALIZED THAT BOTH REAR SPRING PERCHES HAD ROTTED OUT AND HINGED AT THE WELD ALONG THE REAR AXLE. THIS CAR HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE AND IT LOOKS LIKE BRAND NEW. ALSO THIS PROBLEM SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING ON A NINE YEAR OLD CAR. CONTACT WITH CHRYSLERS CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. GOT A RESPONSE OF, "THE COMPANY IS NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SITUATION AT THIS TIME". |
