| Summary: | VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN AT 40 MPH WHEN A BREAKING SOUND WAS HEARD FROM UNDER THE HOOD. WHEN VEHICLE STOPPED, ENGINE WAS NO LONGER RUNNING AND COULD NOT BE RESTARTED. INVESTIGATION REVEALED BROKEN PISTON ROD, ONE LEAF OF CRANKSHAFT BROKEN AND THE PISTON WAS CRUSHED TO HALF. THERE WERE ALSO HOLES IN THE ENGINE BLOCK. |
