Exhaust Emissions - Fewer Auto Exhaust Emissions With Fuel Chips
In previous articles on the Econo Fuel Chip, "Auto Fuel Chips and How they Work", I looked at the fuel chip and how it actually works and in the article "Savings Of 7% To 27%" I looked at the testing that has been conducted on the fuel chips.
As well I wanted to have a look at the emission claims that have been made with the fuel chips. Below you will see results on testing done on two different vehicles at two differnet labs.
BEFORE CHIPS APPLIED TESTING
1998 Honda CRV had emissions of HC (ppm) at 25, NO (ppm) at 151, CO % at 0.12, CO2 % 15.2, and Oxygen% of 0.2
AFTER CHIPS APPLIED TESTING
1998 Honda CRV had emissions of HC (ppm) at 6, NO (ppm) at 29, CO % at 0.04, CO2 % 15.2, and Oxygen% of 0.6
BEFORE CHIPS APPLIED TESTING
1992 Dodge Caravan of HC (ppm) 256, CO % 0.50, CO2 % 14.8
AFTER CHIPS APPLIED TESTING
1992 Dodge Caravan of HC (ppm) 113, CO % 0.18, CO2 % 15.2
The results are impressive with very much lower HC, NO, CO emissions, and a noticable increase in Oxygen emissions.
It makes sense. With increased efficiency in fuel combustion, and less fuel consumption, it only follows that emissions will be reduced. Good news for the environmental effects of auto exhaust emissions for the future.
