Tarpaulins (tarps) made of canvas are some of the most versatile tarps on the market today. These tarps can be flame retardant, water resistant, and mildew resistant. Canvas tarps come in several fabric gauges, from 10-ounce to 17-ounce and up. (The higher the number, the heavier and more durable the fabric.)
